Odd Metering & Timing

Odd Metering & Timing is a specialized course designed for drummers and rhythm section players aiming to master complex time signatures and rhythmic structures. Led by acclaimed drummer Marco Djordjevic, this course delves into the intricacies of odd meters, offering practical exercises and techniques to develop fluency in less common time signatures.

Throughout the course, students will explore various odd meters in 4/8/16, triplet possibilities, rhythm scales, subdivisions over multiple beats, and metric modulations. The curriculum emphasizes musical application, enabling learners to apply these concepts effectively in both accompaniment and soloing contexts.
