Sound Design and Composition in Logic Pro gives you a complete, practical path to creating professional audio for film, television, and video games inside Apple’s flagship DAW. Led by producer, engineer, and composer Shareef Islam, you will learn how to set up your sessions correctly, work efficiently with audio and MIDI, and deliver polished mixes that are ready for clients.

Shareef Islam is a veteran producer, engineer, and composer from New York whose credits span hip hop, R&B, and film and TV scoring. He has collaborated with artists including AZ, Big Daddy Kane, Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip, De La Soul, Mos Def, Onyx, and Jay-Z, and has engineered or remixed for D’Angelo, TLC, Brandy, Missy Elliott, Raphael Saadiq, and more. His original music and licensed placements appear on major networks like VH1, A&E, Sony/Fox, and Style Network, with notable credits that include Clean House, Kimora Lee Simmons: Life in the Fab Lane, VH1’s Best Week Ever, The Bobby Brown Story, and the sitcom Brothers.

Audio and MIDI
