Grant Zubritsky is a multi-instrumentalist, music director, and producer whose wide-ranging career has taken him to stages and studios around the world. Splitting his time between Los Angeles and Vancouver, Grant has established himself as a versatile and in-demand collaborator, performing in 35 countries across five continents and contributing to high-profile projects across the pop, indie, rock, and electronic music landscapes.
As a session musician and music director, Grant has worked with an extraordinary list of artists, including Mitski, Dua Lipa, Chet Faker, Lorde, Brittany Howard, Maggie Rogers, Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo, K.Flay, Yungblud, Blackbear, and many more. His experience spans everything from major TV appearances to global tours, always bringing a unique balance of technical excellence and emotional nuance to his performances. Many of the artists he's worked with are Grammy Award winners or nominees, reflecting the caliber of talent he collaborates with regularly.
Beyond the stage, Grant is an accomplished producer and composer, with credits that include albums, singles, and podcast scores. He also releases original music under both his own name and the moniker GZGZ, blending thoughtful songwriting with lush production aesthetics. His compositions have been praised for their emotional clarity and sonic depth.
As a music director, Grant serves as the behind-the-scenes architect of live performances—overseeing everything from arrangements and rehearsals to sound design and onstage execution. His ability to seamlessly shift between creative roles—whether playing, arranging, producing, or leading a band—makes him an essential asset to any musical project.
Grant holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Hamilton College and began his professional music journey in New York City’s indie club scene before evolving into a full-time touring and recording artist. Despite the demands of a high-profile career, he remains focused on authenticity, collaboration, and communicating emotion through music—values that continue to shape his work today.
